When not enjoying time with his young family, Abel can usually be found on his Duc in the San Diego mountains and deserts. Exceptions occur when the ocean water temperate is >67 deg F, at which time he can also be found bodysurfing in South Mission beach. Abel is currently looking for a '93 SuperLight - perferably located in SoCal - but will likely settle for a SS/SP.

Monday is Ride to Work Day
This year the annual Ride to Work day (RTW) Day moves to the 'third Monday in June.' The next RTW day is next monday MONDAY, JUNE 15, 2009.

Following American Road Racing
At SMR we are definitely fans of motorcycle road racing - closely following both MotoGP and World Superbike. What's sad is that it's nearly impossible to follow our own domestic road racing series.

North American debut of the Ducati Hypermotard
SMR was in attendance today at the north american debut of the Ducati Hypermotard. It was awesome to finally view (and sit on!) the Hypermotard up close. In addition to the Hypermotard, there was a smorgasbord of different jaw-dropping exotic bikes, both modern and vintage.

Create GPX files from Garmin's Mapsource
