Different kind of Mother's
In honor of Mother's day I thought it would only be appropriate to write about every motorcyclists favorite 'Mother'. Any rider who knows of Mother's location, and has ever been there understands the overall awe of being there.

Foggy Parkway
After a few short miles, I got on The Parkway. It was open, the gates were open and the barricades were down. I could finally ride a section of The Parkway. I had really missed it over the winter.

One Sweet Ride
Two great things I enjoy in life: food and riding. So it only makes sense that some of the greatest and memorable outings have a combination of both.

Short and simple goes a long way
The scenery starts to change and no cars can be seen anywhere, it's just you and the empty road in front of you.

DuPont Forest
When I walked back up to the Hooker Falls overlook, I thought that I’d try to take my picture with the waterfall in the background. It turned out OK but I look a lot like the “Uni-Bomber”.

Falls Park and Confederate Museum
Even though it was later in the morning, the road was deserted. Everybody was in church. I opened up the Sportster but all I could reach was about 92 mph. It's not meant for speed!

Early Sunday Morning (West Shelby)
All week it rained and the weathermen predicted a sunny weekend. After all that rain, I was really looking forward to the weekend - especially Sunday. I laid awake at night thinking about where I would go on such a beautiful morning.

Wind Blows After stuffing myself with a good helping of turkey and the best homemade pumpkin cheesecake ever (thanks sis!) it was time to pack and load up to go to the track! Track days after Thanksgiving just give more reasons to give thanks.

Another fine multiday dualsport campout, 1,300 miles or so over 6days. Fully Ridable. Scary out in the middle of a huge dry lake bed, some dust and wind, Hit it too.

EDITORS' CHOICE
Hwy 94 Loop - Missouri
This is a nice, scenic and hilly ride through some of the best of Missouri Wine Country. There are numerous wineries on the ride but some of note are Stone Hill, Hermannhoff and Mt. Pleasent.

EDITORS' CHOICE
Portland to Windy Ridge - Oregon
I would recommend this trip for a number of reasons. First, most of the roads are in good shape and it's a fun ride with great scenery. Second, you get right up to Mt St Helens and Spirit Lake, which is still covered with blown down trees from the blast.
