Announcing the new Sunday Morning Rides Editors' Choice Awards competition!

As you know, every month we feature a new ride on the front page highlighting contributions we don't want anyone to miss. While we are continually amazed by the quality of contributions we have received, we want to push the limits and find the best of the best. That's why we are launching our new quarterly competition, where we will select our favorite ride of the past four months and reward its contributor with SMR swag and prizes from our sponsors. There will be no special submission requirements or restrictions on the type of contribution (road, long distance, adventure, international). Just upload as usual, and you will be considered. It's that easy.

So what makes a perfect Editors' Choice award winning ride?

It's all about personal experiences. Tell us in detail why your ride is exceptional or simply why it is special to you. Upload your best images and videos and tell us where they were taken (use the Mapcoder for your convenience). The mapper will show people where to go. We want to hear why we should. Stories documenting your personal experiences are always better than turn by turn directions.

So what kind of swag will be awarded to the winners? NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To be eligible, simply contribute / upload a fully featured ride to the Sunday Morning Rides website (http://sundaymorningrides.com/contribute), including GPS file, written description of the ride and any supporting images or videos. Incomplete entries will not be considered. All contributions shall be bound by the Sunday Morning Rides Terms of Use.

1. The contest is open to all users who have contributed rides to the Sunday Morning Rides website. Employees of Sunday Morning Rides, LLC, its contest sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies and their respective affiliates and associates and such employees' immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled are excluded from this contest. Proof of identification must be produced on request.
2. The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.
3. Decisions of the contest judges (Editors of Sunday Morning Rides) are final - no substitutions will be available.
4. By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness/alias and/or voice/photograph for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the internet and picture date storage) which Sunday Morning Rides may deem appropriate.
5. In accepting the Editors' Choice prize, the winner, acknowledges that Sunday Morning Rides may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize(s).
6. The person(s) who is selected as being the winner(s) of the specific prize will be required to provide their complete contact information to facilitate shipment of the prize.
7. Sunday Morning Rides, LLC retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
8. This contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws.
9. Sunday Morning Rides reserves the right to withdraw or terminate this contest at any time without prior notice.

11. Each winner can only be awarded an Editors' Choice prize once per calendar year.
