I reconstructed, from memory, a ride we did in 2002. This ride actually included the Upper Peninsula. The entire route was paved so hope I marked the right roads. Highlights: the entire trip! Michigan is beautiful throughout the entire riding season and can be spectacular in October dressed in its fall colors. But, the leaves can be off the trees overnight if it rains hard enough. A day on Mackinac Island is a must for us whenever we are in the area. We took a week for this ride (no rain!) but will take longer the next time. There's a lot to see and do on the Mitten's (Michigan's lower peninsula) edge.
